I have to agree with Lina on this. I can't wait to find out why for her. For me I just think her dark hunter stories are stronger. I always think it's tough to write time travel well. I loved the fact that his dad was alive but it's hard to make that time/space continuum (sp) work for me. -- RBL Dark Hunter Board

Plus, I don't feel like I had a pre-set connection and anticipation for Wren. I did with Vane because we saw him in Talon/Sunshine's book, including when he first met Bride. On the other hand, I LOVED Maggie's connection to Nick and really empathized with her missing him. Loved Savitar, too. Loved the set-up for future books at Sanctuary.
