Hi dude,

Why worry about speed when it's style that's important? Be cool and you'll soon be whizzing past everyone else, just like I do. Anyone who beats you will do so because of your sympathy for their gorky looks. Ask John for the round robin results and you'll see exactly what I mean.

World record is 81.92 mph for luge by the way. The best way to measure speed is to tell people you do 40mph next time you have a pint of guinness. As you drink more guiness add 5mph per pint. I've been known to reach 90mph by this method!

Someone asked about the legality of it all ages ago. I'll see if I can dig out the original mail. At the end of the day it's a grey area. If you're safe, if don't p!ss anyone off or give the coppers any lip you should be fine. Act like an idiot though and you'll get us all in trouble. That would be most uncool, dude.

MC.
