I can't be of much help myself being a newbee as well, but if you havn't already been inundated with e-mails saying the same already your best bet is to get in touch with Chris about equipment and Chalky about luge design.

Where abouts do you live? Meet up with some other riders, have a go on various equipment and see what ppl are using and what suits you. Hopefully it wont be too long untill the next Traws meet, best learning experience ever and everyone is sooooo helpfull.
