If its as successful as "Jackass"........bring it on. As for defending yourself.......how about Pistols at Dawn for everyone. Too many people moan on this board about trying to get things organised.Meet at Traws this weekend and bring a pistol and some gunpowder.....and be done with it.

If you want an outsiders opinion......( but I do watch the board daily to see whos moaning next)........

suggestion = forget this year. Just organise your local events to keep you all active. Use 2003 as a planning year for 2004. I know you all may think that's defeatist and the year is still young; but BIG EVENTS such as Aviemore can be planned with all of you having an input and help the committee to get the Media and Sponsorship right to suit you all. Its not about getting any event this year.......it's about setting up events that will run year in year out.
As for upping the entry fee to £250........no chance...
£250 entrance fee + accommodation + travel costs = very expensive for the UK based racers never mind the overseas entries.
Get somebody on the committee who will just concentrate on Media/Sponsorship needs who has the appropriate skills and committment.
Skills required = 1)can sell ice to eskimos 2)can convince people Johnny Bates the White Van Man isnt as ugly as he looks 3)convince farmer Giles that Amber the dog wont kill his sheep 4) convince Derek that you dont need an URGENT MEETING........NOW...........NOW..........NOW
