Good and bad idea about the trailer. Haulage firms will pull trailers that do not belong to them. The bad news is that 40 foot trailers need to be tested every year at a heavy goods testing station, need to have monthly maintenance checks and records kept, but the main problem is parts such as tyres and the braking system deteriorate when not used regularly. Sorry to sound negative but I know from experience.
