Sorry iam a bit late with this post.

The first thing is Ian and I will check the road out again its been a couple of years since I was there.
At this stage we do not need to buy bales or sort out storage.
It is true that to race on this road it would need a lot of protection to make it safe.The road is very steep something like a 1 in 4. It does not look steep in the pictures.

It will only need a few people to try it out and this will not be at RACE speeds so that we can gauge if its going to be safe with protection.

Some ideas I have had here is to look into an air barriers something in heavy vinyl that can be inflated and take a few knocks and also repair as spending over £4000 on bales in the pasted 2 years is a waste.This would be put to better use in something more portable.
This is where the BGSA and funding should be used.

I have also spoke to Ding about having one maybe 2 rounds of racing at gurston next year if we are able to get a few more hill climbs say Barbourn and Lotton Park we may have a race season.

No one is wrong in there posts they are all valid points that have been made.
