She sighed softly, pushing up off of the couch and moving to stand behind her husband, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her cheek against his back. "Ye nary gave yerself a chance to grieve, lad...tis yer brother and I never saw you shed nary a tear over him except that v'ry first night." Her sentance was cut off as Gavrael came sleepily down the stairs, the boy had been sick like his mam the past few days and was very clingy with her - he had taken to her amazingly well. "Mam..." He whimpered, which caused her to smile a touch and head over there to give him a hug, both of her men seemed to need her at that moment. She knelt down in front of him, brushing his hair - which needed a cut - out of his eyes before she laid her hand across his forehead. "Ye still got a bit of a fever lad, why donna ye go run into the kitchen and ask cook if she'll fix ye some soup and head back up to the bed...your Da and I will be up in a bit to give it to you and mayhap read a story or something."
