She understood that he needed a few more minutes to collect himself so she busied herself by fussing over Gavrael who sucked it up big time - he loved being babied when he was sick. She held him up and checked his fever, made sure he ate his soup and then just stretched out, cuddling with him quietly. She ran her hand over his head gently, murmuring soothingly to him when he asked her to tell him a story and then called for his Da to come and sit and listen to the story too.
