(He had only looked out the window for a moment before turning to lean against the frame and watch the two of them. The cool breeze was welcome and the highland air smelled sweet with spring.. it was soothing to him. When she turned to look at him, he had a soft smile on his handsome face from having watched her tend to his son as if he were her's by blood and not just by love. Gavrael had never been happier than he was when he was with Nellie and he appreciated that instead of being jealous of it, though he realized that he had been neglecting the lad a lot lately. When the boy called for him, he flicked the cigarette he had been smoking out the window and pulled it closed again so that it wouldn't become drafty in the room before walking over to stretch out with his family on the bed, laying so that he was on the other side of Gav, looking over at Nellie in anticipation of their story.)
