(He nuzzled her neck as she lay against him, content to hold her until she was feeling stronger.. or at least until they could see to the bairn, get her cleaned up and let her rest.. though he wouldn't be leaving her side for the remainder of the evening, not even for an act of God. Sighing at her words, he brought a hand up to gently wipe the tears from her eyes, feeling a little better now that he could see her perking up at the arrival of the doctor with their... daughter? His brow furrowed just a little and he was about to try and figure out how he felt about having a bairn that wasn't an heir when the doctor brought over the wee little thing and laid her in Jailynn's arms. That moment was when he lost his heart for the second time, to a pair of beautiful little blue eyes and a wee face like an angel's. He was quiet for a long time, struck silent by the sight of their baby.. then he just let out a soft incredulous sound and moved his arms more fully around his wife, holding his two girls closer.) Look at what ye made, lass.. she's perfect..
