(He felt his heart breaking as he held her close and tried to soothe her with no real chance of doing that.. he knew what the pain was like, how intense and demeaning it was.. it took everything you had to not simply give up and die frm it. There was no picking out a voice or feeling a person, it was all pain and dispair and lack of thought. He was murmuring to her as he carried her down to the waiting car, and once they were inside he looked up at Braden with worry in his eyes.) She got the neurovirus from me somehow.. I didn't know it was transmitable.. it's attacking her brain and making her feel like her whole body is in pain.. she'll die if we dont get her to the hospital in time. (She sighed at his words and nodded, then simply shifted closer to him, fisting her good hand into his shirt and tucking her face in against his chest, relaxing a bit against him. She didn't want to talk about it anymore.. she didnt want to think about how he was already taken or how he was thinking about another girl.. she just wanted to think about them and how wonderful it felt to be held by him. Kyrian was an idiot, she knew that.. but that didn't make it easier to be alone when the nights were cold.)
