He didn't know how he was going to stand all of this. He got to his feet and started to pace the length of the hotel room, which wasn't long enough in his opinion. Suddenly he stopped, hearing Skeeter's harsh words. His jaw set as he felt the anger heat up inside him and threaten to boil over. He turned and shot a very dirty look in his friend's direction.) You have no fucking right to say a word about my relationship with Haylie, Skeeter. Not when your girl is out there fighting her own battles because you weren't man enough to stand up for her. (He knew what was going on with Gia, she was supposed to have been his partner and he was privy to the information in her records because of that. He knew she was after the men who had gotten her raped and that it was personal.. and he knew that every person she had turned to for support had let her down.)
