(He shook his head a little as she teased him, his eyes shining with a touch of a playful side that he had kept hidden from her.. not consciously, but because he had been so down about his predicament and so angry about his father's misuse of a young woman.) I do know a few words.. just nothing important. (He laughed a little, watching her as amusement lit her features and made those beautiful eyes positively shine with light. It was breathtaking and made him wonder just how gorgeous she would look once she was at proper health again and in her element. When she reached for his glass, he let her take it out of habit and watched her as she got to her feet, biting back the urge to help her so as to let her feel useful. He knew what it was like to have someone try and do everything for him when all he wanted to do was fight for his own little place in life.) I know basic words like yes and no.. and I can ask 'where is the bathroom'.. (He grinned as though properly pleased with himself when he said the words in choppy english, his accent so thick that it marred all the vowels and made the phrase longer than it should be.. but it was a beautiful accent and sounded rich and exotic coming from a man as large and handsome as he was.)

  - Her breath caught in her throat at the feel of his fingers against her smooth, soft cheek and she couldn't help but close her eyes at the sensations though when he made the comment about her eyes she opened them again to fix them on his gaze. "Do ye think that I have set a spell upon ye, lad?" She murmured softly, her gaze on his for a long moment before she reached over to take the rest of her scotch down in one easy gulp, her brow furrowed a little as she bit her lip and then shook her head at drinking so much of it so fast. Clearing her throat, she looked back to him, her head cocked to the side in a pretty fashion as she awaited his answer.
