He nodded a little, letting out a soft breath as he looked her over once more as if just to make sure before he stood up and helped her up also, pulling her to her feet before he wrapped his arm securely around her waist, guiding her out to where they were already arresting the guys who had chased her. "Stay here." He murmured, heading over to speak to the other agents and the PD, flashing his badge when the officer looked at him strangely. Quickly, he explained that she was pretty shaken up and that she needed to have some time to rest and then she would be willing to answer any questions but for now he was taking her home. He slid the officer his card with his cell phone number on it, telling him that he could contact her through him at that number and then he was moving back to her without another word, his arm around her waist supporting most of her weight. He opened the passenger side door to the rover and helped her in, buckling her up and pausing to kiss her once more, though it was softer this time before he went to get into his own side, starting the car and moving it out onto the road with a soft sigh escaping his lips, his heart was just now beating normally again.
