(She was moving like a zombie, just letting him guide her where he wanted her and staying there, moving into the car and letting him buckle her in without any of the feminist arguments she usually hurled at him. The accident had shaken her up, left her feeling mentally strained and she was in the process of gathering up everything that had just happened.) They were trying to stop me from testifying. (She said as though it wasn't already common knowledge that the guys had run her off the road.) He came out of nowhere- just rammed the car. I had no chance to stop and then I just lost it - I was so angry I took the jeep from some poor guy at gunpoint.. and I just followed them here. (She shook her head a little and looked over at him, seeing the relieved expression on his face she paled a bit.) I really scared you, didn't I.. (She said softly and reached over to take his hand, even though this sort of relationship was exactly why she didn't get involved with agents.. she had fallen for her fiance and watched him get murdered.. she couldn't do that with Skeeter too. She would just have to end this before it got any further.. but for now she needed him and had a feeling he would need her too.) Sorry..
