Subject: I can be your hero baby, I can take away your pain
In reply to: Kyrian 's message, "
I'm not supposed to be scared of anything, but I don't know where I am
I wish that I could move, but I'm exhausted and nobody understands (how I feel)
I'm trying hard to breathe now, but there's no air in my lungs
There's no one here to talk to and the pain inside is making me numb
I try to hold this under control
They can't help me cause no one knows..

How I'm going through changes, changes
God, I feel so frustrated, lateley
When I get suffocated, save me..
Now I'm fallen apart, now I feel it..

When he hadn't come back by midnight that night she had started getting suspicious and slightly worried - though she would never admit that - so she had called Skeeter to cash in a favor and have him check to see Kyr's incoming and outgoing call logs. Of course, Skeeter - having been in love with Haylie since she showed up - had sounded a tad bit guilty and Haylie had been forced to coerce the information out of him. The only problem was Skeeter didn’t know where in Colorado he had gone. Of course, being the brilliant analytical mind that she was, she had figured out to track some of the companies plane records and then the gps on his phone and thus she was here. When she left, she had made sure Remy knew what was going on, he was none to pleased with his partner going off on his own though he wasn’t surprised and neither was he overly excited about Haylie going off after him - she could tell that the agent in him was fighting the husband in him at the time, wanting to go and help but also wanting to stay and protect and love his wife. She had placated him by going on about how Shay needed him and he was the only one there to watch over her now and that had worked pretty well, or at least she hoped it had.

Anyways, it had been three days since he left, well, not counting the night he actually left because she hadn’t been aware he had left then. Pulling the SUV she was driving to a stop, she parked the car and locked it before climbing out. The bastard was a fool for coming out here by himself and she was going to kick his ass for it when she found him. Though, since she had now been walking for about a half hour, who knew when that would be. Her eyes took in the area around her, noting that it hadn’t snowed in a few days and that made tracking a little easier...the thought was cut short when she saw the tracks and then the blood. Her brow furrowed as she leaned down, picking up the piece of cloth on the ground by the blood. Gray and black camo...they all had gray and black camo, it was what she was in right now. It had to be Kyr. She shifted a little, keeping herself low to the ground, barely keeping herself from groaning when she saw the foot and paw prints meet up with Kyrian’s tracks.

It was easy enough to continue following the trail until she saw the building. She slipped down to rest on her stomach, her bright eyes taking in the building, noting the three windows in the place. The first she could see through now, there were two men standing outside one of the doors inside, chatting with each other seemingly casually though they were obviously guarding something that was inside that room. Her eyes narrowed, taking in the fact that there were three sets of footprints going into the building so she was going to assume - as dangerous as that was - that there were three people there at the moment. The next thing she noticed was that the window was a screen at the moment, open to let in the breeze apparently. She shifted to pull the long range rifle off her back, her handgun at her hip as usual though now beneath her shirt to not attract a glare, reaching onto her belt to pull off the silencer. Clipping it on, she let out a soft breath and took careful aim, wishing suddenly she had taken more classes on long range rifling, before squeezing the trigger gently. She didn’t even take time to make sure the first had dropped before she aimed for the second, only after firing taking a second to make certain that they were both on the ground. She let out a slow breath at that, it was the first time she’d ever killed a person but she was sure they were holding Kyrian and there she wasn’t one to go against her gut feelings.

Quickly, she took the rifle and buried it in the snow, breaking off a twig and sticking it in the ground so she would be able to locate it on her way back - she didn’t want any proof of her being there being left behind - the rifle though would slow her up if she needed to run so she didn’t want to carry it. Quickly but silently, she made her way down the hill and into the building, checking both men’s pulses before she took their guns and emptied out the cartridges, slipping them into her belt and leaving the empty, useless guns there with him. She could hear a man speaking inside, making threats and it only made her know for sure that Kyrian was in there. She sent up a quiet prayer of thanks that he was still alive before she slipped back outside, looking into the window carefully. When she saw him hanging there she sank silently into the snow, barely holding back the urge to retch at the sight of him his beautiful body so abused. It wasn’t easy but she forced herself to hold it together, her eyes going back through the window. As soon as she saw the man raise the gun, she knew there was no time to waste. Turning her body, she put her elbow through the window, not caring or feeling the glass that cut through her skin and barely aimed before she pulled her own trigger, the shot squaring directly in the mans head....
