Subject: She had chatted with her mom, mostly about what was going on with Remy since thats what her mom was most curious about but smiled warmly at him he came back in. She just felt more comfortable with him by her side, more secure and safe. She nodded at his instructions, bringing her arm to her chest with a slight wince before she thanked him for the drink and took a sip of it, sighing in relief as it wetted her parched throat. Once she was done she let him take it back before she immediatly found his hand again, her eyes going back to her mom. She nodded a little, looking up from her daughter to the door and then back to Remy. "He should be here any minute now, he was on a job but he said he was leaving as soon as I called, apperantly he somehow found out before I did and Mr. Boelyn called me apperantly from the convention hall."

  • She frowned at that, squeezing his hand. "There's nothing either you or Kyrian could have done." She stated firmly, she didn't want him or Kyr blaming themselves in anyway whatsoever. Her eyes were adoring as she gazed at him for a second before she turned back to her mother, the three of them chatting quietly as Shay drifted in and out of sleep. When her daddy came though, she smiled sweetly, her eyes on him. "I am ok daddy...just a little flesh wound is all." She smiled bravely for his sake, not wanting her daddy to worry in the least.
