She frowned at that, squeezing his hand. "There's nothing either you or Kyrian could have done." She stated firmly, she didn't want him or Kyr blaming themselves in anyway whatsoever. Her eyes were adoring as she gazed at him for a second before she turned back to her mother, the three of them chatting quietly as Shay drifted in and out of sleep. When her daddy came though, she smiled sweetly, her eyes on him. "I am ok daddy...just a little flesh wound is all." She smiled bravely for his sake, not wanting her daddy to worry in the least.
