"Ecstatic" does not begin to describe how excited we were to finally be able to get this picture. And we could not have done it without you and your people's work. We do appreciate it.
In regards to another post concerning the area you will be operating in, and how much the natives have (or have not) changed since the days of the War: Back in the late 70s I was involved in a fur sale at Vowells Mill, which is just a few miles from where you'll be camped. We laid out our furs in an old school building the night before the sale. We had a couple of people (armed) sleep there with the furs, and they had to run off three sets of "prowlers" before sunup. So, be aware - there are still Jayhawkers in the area.
