They had been home for almost a day but thankfully - after spending some time with his son - Remy had slept most of the time. She knew he was depressed, that he was feeling overwhelmed, his condition affecting his emotions making him even more ragged than he already was. It broke her heart for him, she had cried once she was sure he was asleep for everything he had lost, everything he was going through and her daddy had held her while she sobbed. It was then that she had remembered her big news that she hadn't had a chance to tell him yet and that was what had made her crawl into bed next to him. She didn't want to wake him up, he needed his rest, so she had put the one year old in his crib, leaving him jabbering to himself so he wouldn't squeal and wake Remy up. Quietly, she settled on her side, wearing just a pair of lacy boy cut panties and one of his t-shirts, having shed her dorm pants as soon as her parents left to go back to the hotel. They were staying for a couple of weeks to help out with Chase and anything they could help Remy with, which she was grateful for, but she was also grateful to just have her home to herself and her husband. Kyrian was at Haylie's the man refused to leave his girlfriends side...it made Shay a little worried about him. Her eyes trained on her husband as he slept, her heart swelling with love for him, she didn't think it was possible to love someone the way she loved him.
