seems more proficient than my GP anyway. ;-) And yes, they can do other stuff. When I was your age, I went to just the OB/GYN and didn't even bother with a GP. Some clinics will insist you have a GP tho. ;-P

And doni, my OB docs were always male and I never thought it mattered. But last winter I was in the ER for something else, and I had a female PA and she decided to do a pap smear and pelvic exam "as long as I have you here" hehe. I couldn't believe the difference. She was so much gentler.

from my sis...they are much gentler. I just kind of "blank out" and go into lala land when that's going on...I know I'm such a prude. LOL
