You seem to have all the answers Michael H.! Based on how you are bad mouthing businesses, you would be happy not attracting any businesses to Dracut. That would be all well and good in the utopian world you seem to be living in and the world Dracut has been lving in the past 20-30 years, but, sooner or later reality needs to set in.

Dracut is at a very important cross roads. It needs to decide what it wants to be in the future.

Does it want to be a bedroom community, devoid of industry (i.e. industrial), but, come on in Starbucks and other commercial businesses, the yuppies want your products! This will entail a well planned and highly restrictive growth plan (probably will be considered violating the anti-snob laws though) to ensure that tax revenue will be able to support the new bedrooms with their children needing to learn and be entertained!

Or does it want to be a diverse community that will attract a few well planned and highly tax paying industrial neighbors that will allow Dracut to take advantage of the CPA and preserve it current "character" by protecting some open space and allowing communty leaders to better plan for Dracut's future?

You go for it Michael H.. I would like to get into your vision of Dracut, but, I have a feeling it is more apprpriate that you write about it in a childrens book filled with dreams and visions of utopia!!

I will be watching to see the outcome of this issue and the ramifications of your and others actions! Prove me wrong, PLEASE! I would like nothing better than to see Dracut prosper. I just don't see how you are going to pull it off with the stance you are taking!

PS I only contribute to a discussion I feel I can positively contribute to, unlike others!
