Being one of the 'kids,' it is kind of insulting to say that we are going to pick up the stones and throw them around. We are not anarchist revolutionaries who feel the need to desecrate what some consider hallowed grounds. There are a lot of memorials around town that us 'kids' haven't destroyed. The one that comes to mind right off the bat is the memorial to all veterans in the parking lot of Dracut High School. Literally hundreds of 'kids' have access to this memorial everyday, and it hasn't been ruined yet. In fact, even the flowers look pretty healthy all year. So, while the bricks may become loose, as many memorials do with age, it is not fair to blame these 'kids' or even put them in a hypothetical situation that would make them seem like the ignorant class of people you are trying to make us out to be.
