I had the opportunity to recently visit the war monuments at Veterans Memorial Park, and the foundation in that area looks like, Hell warmed over! Aside from many of the bricks being loose, they seem to rise in an incline about a foot or so radius around the monuments and benches.

In defense of the area youngsters, this had nothing to do with kids playing pranks to draw attention to themselves. But this looks so weird that the town may need something more than a good brick mason to remedy the situation---maybe a geologist to determine exactly why the bricks seem to rise around the monuments and benches.

Since this particular area serves as the "crown jewel" of Veterans Memorial Park, I think we owe it to all our residents, especially those who proudly served this country's armed forces in war and in peace, to quickly and efficiently resolve this problem as soon as possible.
