Buffy, Buffy, Buffy: You're either very ill-informed, or you're obviously in denial.

If you followed the golf course hearings from 1-2 years ago, you'd know that one of the abutters filed a complaint with I believe either the State Ethics Commission or the Middlesex District Attorney that the two incumbent selectmen from this past election had blatant conflict of interests with the biggest building developers in town.

As for Severance Trucking, that thing has turned into the Selectmen's own Vietnam War, and for what? To make a selectman's girlfriend happy? Only in Dracut, I guess.

As for me pulling nomination papers and cutting Alan Thivierge's throat in next year's selectmen's race, sorry Buffy, I ain't that dumb.

Why should I just sit back and let an heir apparent to King Warren's throne just slither into that seat without a fight? From what I hear, the King is contemplating giving his royal blessings to either: Kevin McCarthy, Barry Myers, or Michael McLaughlin. Three very worthy choices, indeed, to fill King Warren's shoes. Now call me a party-pooper, Buffy, but that just ain't gonna happen if I have any say in the matter.

Alan Thivierge is an honest, hard-working man of integrity, and I just feel he's more than earned his shot to serve as a Dracut Selectman.

As far as me crawling back under my rock and leaving the politicians alone, you took a heck of a lot worse whack at Alan Thivierge in an earlier entry on this very same forum, Buffy, than I ever did to the two incumbents. I also documented by statements through published newspaper reports. How did you attribute the supposed "facts" you made about Alan Thivierge in that earlier forum entry, Buffy?

Finally, I'll make a deal with you, Buffy, I'm a taxpayer in this town and I expect to get a good honest effort by those public officials running the show here in Dracut. If the public officials of this town manage all the departmental components thereof in an honest, fiscally responsible manner, I, Herman Munster, promise never to criticize any of the politicians ever again.

Is it a deal, Buffy?

Herman Munster
