Actually, I do pretty much all of the things you list (with the exception of the canvas bag at the supermarket, but that's a good idea!)

Some of my concerns about the power plant are:

Is the best pollution-control and noise-mitigation technology being used to ensure a safe and clean system?

Will the plant follow Clean Air Act standards on pollution emissions (both volatile organic compound and ammonia)?

Is Sconox being used, which would reduce pollution emissions by half and eliminate the need for ammonia?

This plant is cleaner than coal or oil burning plants, but two million pounds of annual air pollution is significant, and I'm not convinced that this amount of pollution warrants no worry or concern.

Do you have any idea if these standards are being met? I can't seem to get an answer from anyone!

Thanks!
