Hi Dracut!

First, I commend Dennis on trying to lend some sane/technically justifyable dialog to this discussion! It is sorely needed! I do not know of many people in the public eye that would take the time, have the knowledge and insight to such a highly technically and socially volatile issues as Dennis does!

Secondly, Naturally and Karen M-D present points that I have tried to make in the past. Before you make statements about a project such as Nickell Hill, look at your own actions and see if you meet the same "standards" you are holding Nickel Hill to!! I do not think most of us can! I know I could not say that I live the "Lowest Achievable Emission Rate" life when it comes to my use of vehicles, heating, and purchase of environmentally-unfriendly products!!

No industry is 100% "safe", but, a power plant like Nickel Hill is probably the best engineered industry that would ever consider locating in Dracut!!! I truly feel that they will be a good neighbor, contribute to the tax base of Dracut in ways that no other industry or private tax payer ever could, and help reduce regional air pollution by being a "Lowest Achievable Emission Rate" source.

Thanx for your time and I look forward to the responses as usual!!

Ed :=)
