(If she had had any clue of his current state, she would have probably freaked out and ran for her room.. and then come back to investigate things. It wasn't that she was scared of her own sexuality.. it was that it wasn't much a part of her yet.. and she hadn't really explored it all that much. She did know that he invoked the same feelings in her that Cody had.. that innate female desire to sidle up to a man who was big enough and strong enough to protect her. Cody paled in comparison to Braden.. hell, he didn't exist in comparison to Braden.. and that was probably why her stomach was in knots.. probably. Her lip untucked as he ran his thumb over it, her tongue tracing the path to whet the dried skin, and she swallowed as she looked up at him. Lord, but he was handsome.. he had the clearest eyes.. and with that shadow of stubble along his jaw.. Her eyes widened a little and she shifted at the same time that he had, turning to lay on her side with her back to his chest. It was a good thing he had pulled that blanket up near his hips, cause she would have really freaked out now.) Yeah.. that sounds good.. (She said softly, hating herself for being so damned adolescent. She just had to remind herself that Braden was her guardian.. not just another guy she was around. Yeah.. like that would make her feel any better about her thoughts.)
