For a long moment, he was silent, his face carefully blank and emotion free, betraying no signs of anything he might be thinking. It was a good thing too, because at that particular moment he was giving himself a scolding over even noticing what she was wearing and carefully putting any thoughts of how damn he had been entertaining were gone, he finally began to speak. "I distinctly remember telling you, before I left on this mission, that I did not want you within a hundred yards of the headquarters, much less within them. I can understand why Skeeter might have forgotten these instructions. He is a complete and total idiot. You, on the other hand, do have some intelligence and it boggles my mind to what made you think it was acceptable to completely, directly, deliberately disobey and go wherever you pleased." His brow raised slowly, his arms crossed over his powerful, broad chest as he gazed down at her through narrowed eyes. "I would love to hear an explantion onto how you rationalized your behavior in your mind, Reese. Really. I would love too." The commander in him told him that this was a deliberate action and required carefully thought out punishment but the man in him, the lover in him, was wondering how the hell to properly punish his sweet, beautiful little Reese. Still, none of his thoughts were betrayed on his expression and he just stood there silently - staring her down as if she was one of his troops who had dared to not follow orders. Damn it. Didn't she realize the danger she was already in just from having to be involved in any of their lives? Then, on top of that, she just walked herself right into the mine field that was any military or government building - it was mind blowing to him.
