Tayler Plunkett was the original 1RU, but the article said that she "stepped down". I assume to run in a different pageant? But I didn't know that you couldn't be 1RU and run for other titles? Maybe because TriCities has their court do appearances like Auburn?

Honestly, I don't know anything for sure. Just posting what I read in the article.

So, not only was a new Miss Tri-cities crowned this summer, but a new teen recently as well. There was an article in Seventeen magazine about the title being removed from winner Sarah Carlson for being 11 days too old. What a shame they didn't realize sooner.
