Dear Marcelo Sena,
I also feel like the many political scandals in the world today are a shame. A candidate should not have to use such undignified means to become elected or even once he is in office. Citizens must be aware of all the controversies surrounding the candidates in order to make informed decisions while voting. When Lula skipped the presidential debate, he portrayed to the public that he does not see the debate as something important. This action should upset the citizens of Brazil who previously supported Lula. When a person votes, he must carefully consider not only what is best for himself, but also what is best for his country.
