I'm so glad someone else noticed the Brazilian Americans and their voting in the election. I did not mention it in my own letter, but that seemed so strange to me, too. What is stranger still is that Lula is the only candidate reaching out to those voters. What does it say about him if he needs those votes? Also, the idea of picking "the lesser of the two evils" does seem to sum this election up perfectly, which is unfortunate, but is often the case in other countries.
