Subject: Peer Pressured Friendships

In high school you could have been Homecoming Queen or even the kid that was made fun of for four years because of an accident in swim class. But after leaving that building, those memories and friends stay there. Who ever stated that we don’t have a second chance in life hasn’t gone off to college. Going off to college consists of getting a clean slate, another chance to do things differently. Which makes me stumble over the question, how do you make new friends to create new memories?
What’s the first thing you think of when the word college pops in your head? Drinking and partying. A week in college doesn’t always consist of worrying about getting a paper done or studying for an exam, but to fret about who is going to pick up alcohol for that night’s party. This is exactly what I’m afraid of. Am I not going to make new friends because of my decision not to drink or party?
