I absolutely agree with you because I don’t think that people can be friends with benefits. The concept of friends with benefits is just two people afraid of making a commitment. Friends with benefits do not work because when you begin this “relationship,” you may not have any feelings for one another. But, as you begin to spend more time with each other, you start to have feelings for one another. I personally have had experience with the friends with benefits idea. I used to think that I would be able to just be friends with benefits with this guy I used to live by. We started hanging out and doing stuff together and I came to realize that I actually liked him a lot. I started to want more from the “relationship”, I mean I actually wanted to have a relationship with him. But, he had no feelings for me except as a friend and I was very hurt. Ever since then, I have decided that a friends with benefits relationship does not work. I agree that you should either just stay friends or actually try to form a relationship because a friend with benefits is not a good idea.
