Jennifer, we went up to Blind Pass and went under the bridge to the back side of the island. You have to go at low tide because at high tide it would be covered in water. Warning it is a slimy mess, I could have been on AMFV, my feet got stuck in the slime, I went to go forward the rest of my body moved but my feet were stuck so I went down on my hands and knees but I didn't lose a shell. The shells are covered in this muddy slime so, you have to be real careful about not taking a live shell. My big prize was finding a 10" horse conch on Thanksgiving morning, nice and orange.
