Thanks so much for the response! My Mom and I were there (at Blind's Pass or surrounding area) every single morning at low tide, but we never thought to go under the bridge on the other side. Now we will know for next time! Thanks so much - and wasn't Thanksgiving Day glorious?! (especially compared to the rest of that week). I read about your big horse conch - that's exciting!. We didn't find anything big (except the most exquisite Lighting Whelk I've ever seen....but lucky for him, he was still alive, so I threw him back into his home). My Mom found a Cabrit's Murex, which I think is a rare find (for us anyway!)
