IS ANYBODY INTERESTED IN JUST 1950 FILMS. I THINK THEY WERE MADE WITH INNOCENCE. THEY HAD A BEGINNING MIDDLE AND END. TODAYS FILMS ARE ALL VIOLENCE AND SPECIAL EFFECTS. DOES ANYONE HAVE A FAVORITE 1950 FILM.

For all the fans of THE SIMPSONS, I am pleased to announce that a complete episode list, with airdates, plot summary and screenshots are currently being prepared by myself for inclusion on the site. I am in the early stages of setting this up so bare with me.....but does anybody want to submit their favourite episodes, or make some suggestions about what is included on each episode? Would love to hear your thoughts.
Seeing as no screenshots currently exist for The Simpsons, I thought it would be nice for somebody to suggest which episode gets the FIRST treatment of screenshots? First reply to this message will be honoured.

Hi guys & gals; I see you have recently posted a movie which I appeared in and along with my screenshot too. I wanted to say that the notion to get still frames from actors in all of their movies is a great idea, and I paricularly like the work you have done with (my) movie (which brings back some wonderful memories considering I haven't viewed it for several years now). Needless to say I am impressed with your work, your site and the obvious long hours you must work to keep submitting the new material. I raise my glass to you and salute your site....
Keep up the magnificent work, I will bookmark this site ;)

Hey, thanks for the Trading Places caps guys. Just one small issue - the guy you have credited as Clint Smith is actually Giancarlo Esposito. Cross reference with the Usual Suspects cap if you're not sure.
Thanks,
Matt

Have bought up some new storage space, 100GB, no limits on fileheaders or bandwidth.

Have copied all the files from the ye olde server and am now populating them to the new. So far it's been running more or less all weekend and am still only halfway through the letter 'H'. Getting there...s...l...o...w...l...y.

Next up will add new feature to display 8 selected stills or so from each 'capped movie in an effort to get the 'flavour' of it.

Unconfirmed reports have suggested that the actress NATASHA RICHARDSON has died, following her ski-ing accident last week. Has anybody got any concrete news to back this up, or contradict this news? I heard she was critical, but a respected veteran gossip columnist Liz Smith has issued the news on her website stating the actress has infact died as a result of her injuries.

i think films to day rely too much on special effects than story . the films of the 1950s may seem innocent but at least they had a storyline and did not rely on special tricks. also can anyone help me .i am looking for a stewart granger film called legions last patrol. it was afilm about algerian troubles. it also had atheme tune that became a number 1 record. the cast and crew a mixture of italians french i think. thanks to all IAN

Hi Matt,
As you can see, I have been to work on the first four films in the BATMAN series. I have added all the title cards, credit rolls, links, and text into each one. They are far from complete of course, but this is a start. Now that they are 'off and running', I shall scan through the discs more thoroughly and find the major missing shots needed. As I continue to update them, you may see some screenshots change from time to time. Some are just put up for the time being until I can find better, clearer pics (example Michael Gough in BATMAN is very rough, as I was going through the DVD quite fast, so I shall get a better shot for you soon, but make do with this for now). I think ANY shot is better than no shot at all.
Thanks again for the request, and for the interest :)

~Lord

Hello,

Thanks for the new screen grabs for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. It's great to see that they are so thorough.
Is it possible to request grabs for the older Batman films from Batman '89 up until Batman & Robin, and possibly including The Mask of the Phantasm?

Thanks for your time,

Remembered for her role of Pauline Fowler in BBC1's long-running soap opera EastEnders and Miss Brahms in Are You Being Served?, she will be sadly missed. I still can't believe she's gone actually.

Hello there,

I just wanted to say how lovely it is to see my picture on a website! I work on the Potter films, and was put in one as an extra because I did something related to the part they gave me. Didn't give it much thought but someone sent me your weblink and now I feel noticed!

Anyway, just thought I should let you know the twins are the wrong way round - the photo you have next to James Phelps is Oliver - you have the character names the right way next to the pics, but the actor names the wrong way.

Thanks!

Hi, I am a regular visitor to your site and I wanted to a) criticise and b) compliment you for the same reasons if I may...
Armageddon!
It amazes me that such a huge film as this took so long for you to post, but now that you have all is forgiven, and may I also say that you have done a thorough job with it too. I couldn't believe it when I saw Shawnee Smith's name on there (I love the "Saw" franchise which she stars in) and then when I saw the screenshot I remembered her of course!!!
Hope you don't take offence to my criticism, but guys guys guys - why did it take so long?!!!

Best regards,
Keith

Hi! Sadly, just less than one week after Clint Ritchie's
passing, Philip Carey, who played his charachter's dad'
Asa Buchanan, has passed away from lung cancer at 84. I saw him in a movie I have on DVD, "Scream of the Wolf", in which he played the sheriff, looking for a killer who may

Thoroughly enjoyed the screening of Moon, here at Sundance. A pleasing science fiction movie with echoes of everything from 2001 thru Space 1999, Solaris and Alien. Sam Rockwell is terrific as a lone astronaut miner who is gradually losing it.

We're hoping to get some interviews. Stay tuned for full review and more!
