Subject: Dark Question For 1/5

As a vampire gets older, gathering years and years of knowledge from the ever changing society around them, something begins to 'change' in them after the first century or so.

120 years is average, give or take a few decades here and there. That goes from adult crossovers and halflife's alike.

Why do you think that is? What would it be like...to suddenly feel your life fading away as your mind deteriorated while you were still breathing? Still living? Would you go insane? Would you begin to lose your ability to focus? Does your mind simply 'fill' up with all that it can hold?

What do you think the mental break down of a vampire is? What causes it? And how is that the Elders were somehow able to avoid it?

Let us know!
