Honestly...when I first started this story the idea of it being a book or a movie or ANYTHING like that never crossed my mind. In fact, if it weren't for a really good friend online (Drew Greyfox aka JT The Lizard), I never would have posted that first chapter at all.
I'd love to do the story as it is, but that may be a really tall order as far as Hollywood is concerned. I think they're LEARNING...with movies like "Brokeback Mountain" and all, but I think there's a long way to go on the 'gay teen' front. The straight to videostories seem to be able to get away with a lot of stuff that wasn't acceptable before. And if it's popular enough, I'd like to think that Hollywood would lower their defeses long enough to make the movie the way it was supposed to be. BUT...if not...I'd almost be willing to change the ages of some of the 'sexual' beings to 18 just to see it get made.
But I would really want the site and the TRUE "GFD" fans to have a say in that. I'd never make a movie without their approval! They're an important part of the whole process, and they know the story better than I do! (No joke! Hehehe!) So we'll see!
But we're already trying to get a video game together, more spinoff stories are coming, and a possible comic book version! Hehehe! So we'll see what happens! ::So Proud::
