The reason 'Hollywood' alwas gets mentioned is because of the suggested budget of a film like this. For exmple, it couldn't all be condensed into one movie. Even a two or three hour epic. It would HAVE to be a trilogy at least. It would take capable actors to pull it off. Younger actors need guardians, tutors and time for school, and we'd have to shoot fast because a teenage actor can have a grwth spurt of four or five inches in a month. Plus special effects for something as simple as 'Comicality's' shadows or the Beast or some of Justin's extras would cost a fortune. Then there's martial arts training and choreography, music, paying off a BUNCH of extras for background...all of that would be astronomical in terms of price.
And yet...it would be a shame to see it done in a cheesy, low budget, type of way, you know? But if it can be done, I'd be all about it. And even if we went 'animated' with it, I'd love to see that too!
I guess it's just a matter of how 'good' you guys want it to look. Unfortunately, the folks with all the money...spend it on garbage in the cinematic world. Hehehe! But if there's a middle ground out there somewhere, I'm open to suggestions.
Unfortunately, I never wrote this story with a budget in mind. :P
