Subject: ADJUDICATION AND RESULTS

18.1.1. Organisers may appoint to judge a registered competition only a person currently registered with An Coimisi�n as Adjudicator (ADCRG).

18.1.2. Organisers must not require an adjudicator of a solo competition, nor shall an adjudicator be permitted, to judge more than three competitors dancing simultaneously.

18.2.1. In the case of competition judged by three or more adjudicators the organisers must
(a) determine the overall result by implementing the official points syst�m of An Coimisi�n;
(b) inform the audience of the individual result of each adjudicator and, unless An Coimisi�n otherwise authorises, show the audience or put on display the calculations involved in arriving at the overall result.

18.3.1. Organisers must announce the result of a competition immediately on its conclusion, or, if that is impracticable for any good reason, immediately following the next competition, except in the case of the exception permitted by Rule 18.3.2.

18.3.2. Where competitions in the same age-group and in the same grade are run immediately following each other, organisers may withhold the result of those and announce them together as soon as that particular group of competitions has been completed.

18.3.3. Organisers, when announcing the result of competitions, must (a) in the case of solo competitions, give the competitor�s number, name and school of dancing and (b) in the case of team competitions, the number of the team and the name of the school of dancing or of the Cumann.

18.4.1. Organisers must not keep a competition open for competitors who do not attend in time.
