Dear Monroe Township Residents,

Kay's right. My tree farm has been here since 1989 while the growing of trees is agricultural, turning them into roping, wreaths, etc. is manufacturing. Christmas trees take up to 15 years to grow some varities. Our children have put just as much sweat equity into our farm as we have, they are part owners. Legally under zoning they couldn't move the roping and wreath business to another area in Monroe Township, unless it is zoned for it.

My husband has an excavating business, neither business is listed on the map. Like I said we've planted trees here since 1989. Yet, we aren't listed! We've been open for retail business since 2004.

America is suppose to BE THE LAND OF THE FREE! Free enterprise...whether my husband is trustee or not, IT'S CALLED FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

VOTE NO ZONING FOR MONROE TOWNSHIP! YOUR VOTE COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Debbie Riley
Owner, Deb's Tree Farm
