Mine That Bird wins first Kentucky Derby ,Triple Crown Jewel.....a long shot ( 50 to 1 odds ), second only to the longshot of Kentucky Derby in 1913.
A nice sentimental story for this horse and trainer..... as a horse lover...it's nice to ( FINALLY ) see NEW safety rules enforced to protect the horses ,
( and the jockeys )......after the tragedy of Barbarosa and Eight Bells, it's about time. Horses are very intelligent and psychic.
