Date Posted: 13:29:28 12/05/07 Wed As I watch white out conditions going on outside this morning, I thought what a perfect lesson to put up in here about how other planets affect the weather here on Earth. We know how the Sun affects the wind and weather here on earth. The Moon depending on its sign placement, it can bring or withhold precipitation. Mercury: This planet is very much the main influence of wind direction and velocity. When Mercury is in its Stationary period,(meaning right before a planet begins moving Direct or Retrograde motion), its influence is always prominent in major weather events such as tornados, hurricanes, and blizzards. Venus: Governs moisture, humidity, and clouds. When Venus is in the sign of Taurus, Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces you can bet that it will bring a lot of precipitation. In signs of Gemini, Virgo, Libra, and Sagittarius the weather is drier. If Venus is in a positive aspect of other planets, it brings warmer, sunny, pleasant weather. Mars: Is associated with heat, drought, and wind. Its energy creates also fuels perfect ingredients for generating thunderstorms, tornados, and hurricanes. When Mars is in a Fire sign like Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius...Look Out...Very hot, uncomfortable record setting levels can and does happen. Jupiter: A fair weathered planet and asociated with the high pressure system. When in a Fire sign, temperatures become warmer. Storms are often amplified by Jupiter. Saturn: A HUGE precipitation maker and is associated with the low pressure system. Temperatures often drop when Saturn is involoved, as well as rain fall that's a slow steady down pours that lasts hours or days, this also includes winter storms as well. Uranus: Associated with a high pressure jet stream that brings in cold air including cold air that extends far South. Uranus can bring drought during the winter months and is invloved in thunderstorms, tornados, and hurricanes. Neptune: Of all the planets, Neptune is definitely the wettest. It is resonsible for low presure systems and is dominant when hurricanes are in the forecast. Neptune has a BIG influnece on temperatures, humidity, and cloudiness. When strongly placed it can cause floods. Pluto: This planet is associated with weather extremes including unseasonably warm tempertaures/drought and reflects the high winds involved in MAJOR hurricanes, tornados, and storms. Now let us look at each Zodiac sign and what their weather condition brings: Aries: Dry, heat, wind. Taurus: Precipiataion, moderate temperatures. Gemini: Dry, cool temps, wind. Cancer: Steady precipitation, cold. Leo: Dry, heat, lighting. Virgo: Dry, cold, windy. Libra: Fair, windy, cool. Scorpio: plenty of preciptation, extreme temps. Sagittarius: Fair, warm, moderate wind. Capricorn: Damp, wet, cold. Aquarius: Dry, cold, high pressure, lighting. Pisces: Cool, wet, low pressure. Wishing you all a great Holiday Season.
