Subject: Recuerdo clarito esa noche y tenía un presentimiento increíble porque sabía el calibre que teníamos en Denise. Me habían invitado a una fiesta de Miss Universo organizada por un missiólogo mexicano bastante reconocido. Debían haber por lo menos unas 50 personas, entre ellas RuPaul fuera de drag. Diablo, altísimo y súper low key, nada que ver con la personalidad campy y extravagante que vemos en televisión. Mientras avanzaba la noche, literalmente todo el mundo en esa fiesta estaba apoyando a Puerto Rico porque era más que evidente que Denise había sido la ganadora absoluta de principio a fin.
