Subject: Hi Terri. Finaly some discussion and controversy. Good, LOL! I think Denise is getting too much slack here. Ghetti had started to get phsyical in the garage stroking Denise's arm. He did not share one kiss but several in the staff lounge. The fact that she did not instantly pull away bothers me and I am glad that she eventually did. So I disagree with it being only a kiss. There was a pause before he continued and that is when she should have stopped pronto IMHO. So canI agree with some other posters that said if this were Frank sharing kisses with another woman he would be crucified. I based my comments on the previews that said "A wife is torn between following her heart and staying faithful to her family". That to me implied she is still tempted (Inside please)
In reply to:
Terri
's message, "Jeremy just knows his mother seems happier, but he doesn't know why. I couldn't disagree with you more Jubellant. Just because Ghetti is removing himself doesn't imply anything on Denise still being tempted. She pulled away from him and walked away. I don't know how Frank will find out, but I'm hoping it finally gets to the bottom of why Denise was tempted by another man and Franks role in that. Because it's their relationship that lead to Denise and Ghetti. And Denise didn't cheat on Frank, it was only a kiss and she pushed him away and walked out." on 16:25:14 07/30/08 Wed
The announcer did not say a wife feels guilty. Also if my ears heard right when Denise says he (meaning Frank) doesn't know Jeremy replies "What either of us have been up to?" I could be totally wrong here. I agree with Jennifer's statement that Frank was being an a** and Neanderthal but as Denise said to Pamela he married someone who was willing to quit nursing to become a wife and a mother. Now that she has outgrown that role and is changing at least allow the guy some time to adjust to the new her. He is obviously doing things that probably worked before in the past and he has to realize that there relationship has entered a new stage. It took 20 years for Denise to realize there was a me in their relationship. I think it is unrealistic to expect Frank to change on a dime and from long distance at that with his mind probably being flooded with all sorts of images as to what exactly he will be returning home to. I think if he were the one who had changed Denise would have a hard time at first to with what was in front of her.

I'll wait & see the ep first...IMHO the voiceovers on previews are meant to "entice" & lure us into watching, so I'm not quite sure about the following her heart bit. I think Denise feels guilty more than anything else, not tempted. And by the same token Jubes, if we are giving Denise too much slack, I think you are giving Frank waaaaay too much credit LOL! Seriously, I gotta hand it to you for continiung to support & defend Mr. Caveman, I've given up on him after his "let" comments. I disagree that he misspoke, I think Frank clearly meant what he said, & that he truly feels that way, that Denise needs his permission to do anything, & anything she does is only because HE allows her to do it. No misspeak there, Frank firmly believes that he should be the one making ALL the decisions. -- Jennifer, 07:56:13 07/31/08 Thu [1]
I've said the kiss was wrong...and Denise will have to deal with that. But I'm not going to cut Mr. Caveman any slack either, he's just as much at fault for the state of their relationship as she is. The thing is I can see her working harder to fix things, to get back on track, & I can see Frank doing nothing.

I agree Twinny! And like Jennifer said, don't hold too much stock in the Lifetime announcers comments for the previews. It's called spin and they do it all the time on all networks for all shows. And usually what they're saying during there commercial announcements has nothing to do with the character or the episode, it's like Jennifer said, they do it to entice. Also, take a look at the preview for next week with Denise and Claudia Joy, it shows how guilty Denise feels and CJ even says to her, "it was just a kiss and you didn't act on it." I'm not excusing the kiss because I wish it hadn't happened, but like I've said, TPTB could have handled it much much worse and gone the affair route, but they didn't. Inside... -- KH, 10:39:22 07/31/08 Thu [1]
Also, Denise did push him away and her facial expression right before she ran out spoke volumes. She knew it was wrong and got the hell out of dodge. I agree with everything you said Twinny! Take Care! :o)

Actually I gave up on Frank when he tried to sell Denise's motorcycle without her knowledge....its like well, I Frank made the decision for my wife that she's not to have it, so I, Frank will take it upon myself to sell it, because she needs my permission to keep/ride it, & since she doesn't have its well within my right to dispose of it. Sometimes I think caveman is too generous a term for ole Frankie LOL! -- Jennifer, 11:22:40 07/31/08 Thu [1]
