- Army Wives DVD -- Lissa, 11:55:48 02/04/08 Mon [1]
Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything about the Army Wives DVD set lately... :-) I am assuming that the DVD release has been pushed back due to the strike. But I am still hoping that it will include extras, and the "tribe" singing to raise money for Betty. I went over to Katherine Fugate's site to see if it had been updated, and the original post that talked about that scene being included in the dvds was gone. :-( Im hoping the DVD will still include this "extra scene" that was cut from the show. Hopefully we will even see some bloopers. :-)
Well hope you all are well, and we will get this great show back again soon!! :-)

Go to community on the home page of Lifetime TV, then click on headings and then type in Sterling's or Drew's name in the search box. Lifetime really should organize their website much better. The season finale of Lifetime’s “Army Wives” was the most-watched series episode in the network’s 23-year history.
Sunday’s episode drew 4.1 million total viewers and finished the year as the network’s highest rated original scripted drama in households, women 18 to 34, women 18 to 49, women 25 to 54, adult women as well as total viewers.
Over the course of the season, “Army Wives” averaged 3.7 million total viewers and was the top program on ad supported cable on Sunday nights for 13 straight weeks among women 25 to 54 and for seven straight weeks among women 18 to 49.

Frank went a long way in redeeming himself IMHO...We saw a softer side of Frank, I loved it when he popped up with the balloons for Denise and told her that he was proud of her. And then Frank made dinner for her?? Wow! Pick me up off the floor LMAO! Good for Frank! He finally verbalized what some of us thought he was feeling, that he was scared Denise had outgrown him and didn't need him. Loved Denise's response, and I adored how Frank gave her a letter too when Denise gave him his upon his deployment.
I feel for Joan. I admire her honesty in telling Roland, and the fact that she didn't use the pregnancy to force Roland to stay, or become all desperate. Roland on the other hand, I have no clue what's going on in that man's head (his god given brain not the brain below his belt LOL), and I think he's in need of some serious counseling. I did like however the 4 women supporting Roland, even though they may not agree with what's going on with Roland & Joan, they support and are there for their friend.
Glad Amanda wasn't pregnant...now maybe she can just go away for a while, cause she annoys me LOL! I thought Jeremy handled the break-up very well, and these two may end up together later on. Who knows....I wonder if Jeremy will be stationed at the post upon his completion of basic training? I do miss seeing Jeremy and Denise, cause I thought they were starting fresh with their relationship, and that has ended.
I liked Claudia Joy giving the bar owner a check...anyone think Roxy is going to take over the bar ownership?
I knew it was going to be Marilyn's husband, and the ending sure left us wondering what was going to happen...he didn't say a word, and when he pulled the Flak Jacket off, it was like Oh No!!!
Gosh how many months until Season 2???? Congrats to the cast and crew of Army Wives, for a successful FIRST season! I wasn't sure if I'd like the show, but it got me hooked and I just love the friendship and bring on Season 2!

- I so agree Twinny! Frank did come a long way in redeeming himself and I loved how he acknowledged that in the beginning he gave her a rough time but then he was so proud of her. In the last couple of episodes, Frank has come a long way and he verbalized his happiness that they were getting their son back and that he e-mailed Jeremy. I've so loved the journey that Denise has been on this first season and I can't wait to continue the ride into Season 2. I also loved Frank showing his vulnerability with Denise's changes and worried that there wouldn't be room for him when he got back. Totally loved Denise's reply to him on how she never needed him more than she does now and never loved him more than she does now. And loved how Frank had a love note for Denise as well, too cute. - Sadly, only one episode to go, boo hiss! I loved Denise's role this week although she wasn't the heart of the storyline. Loved how she reached out to Joan and how she intuitively was able to read between the lines. She qualified she was Roland's friend but that did not stop her from calling him out on his behaviour and demonstrating there was a cost for his choices. She was not about to carry on the friendship as if nothing had happened. She actually got him to look a little ashamed instead of projecting everything onto his wife. Glad she pointed out that Joan looked really hurt because up to now it seemed for him to be all about himself. How could insignificant Lenore get to CJ? I was glad that Denise reminded her who has been there from the beginning. -- Jubellant, 08:33:43 08/20/07 Mon [4]
I am so disappointed with how Roland has been written lately. This behaviour seems so out of character for him but maybe like Denise he is starting to stand up for his wants in life. In his case he chose a destructive route to achieve this. I still think his hostage crisis triggered these actions and he decided to live in the moment however inappropriate. That he is projecting his bad choices as being his wife's fault is just plain cowardly. I really felt for Joan this week especially when she said she has no female friends since college. Her begging Roland to make this work was getting to me until I realized she is probably trying to hang on to the only friend she really has. I just hated the picnic between her and Roland (so inappropriate the whole diary thing), the fact that he goes to Michael and stands up for his wife because the Army means so much to her and then privately condemns her for career aspirations. He says he believed her when she said she wanted to make a difference in the world and now that she is doing that he holds it over her head. He gives her ultimatums instead of trying to work out solutions. I let Joan's slip as far as her handling of the Peter Belgrad situation slide, but now they have her being distracted because of personal issues? I don't buy this as women who reach the level she has, know they have to be that much better at their jobs and would be able to separate personal life from the job. Women are good at multi-tasking and though it wouldn't be easy I am sure Joan would be able to don the mask of professionalism once on the job. Roxy's line to Trevor are you high, cracked me up. Boy do those two have to play catch up on things they should have asked before getting hitched. Loved that Pamela had her spouse around for a change and I think I like her character next best to D-girl's. Lenore continued to be her usual pathetic self can't believe CJ let her words make her doubt her friends! Well one more to go. It's been one he** of a ride so far. After soon to be 13 action packed episodes, what will they do next season?? I can't wait to see!!

- I buy Joan's slip up only because it's myriad of things that are affecting her, and not just the separation with Roland. In the space of just a few months, she's come home from a warzone riddled with guilt for allowing a little girl to be brutalized and murdered, she's had the Belgrad situation, treatment for PTSD, and then finds out Roland couldn't keep it in his pants while she was off trying to get the treatment that he recommended. That's a lot for one person to take on. If it was just the thing with Roland or Belgrad alone I'd agree with you, but it's all of those things built up. (NT) -- Theresa, 10:09:35 08/20/07 Mon
- I'm also disappointed in Roland's behaviour & his indifferent attitude. I also am tired of them making Joan the screw-up, like because she's a woman she can't handle the job when something personal gets in the way. That bothered me last night, but I'm glad Joan was able to fix things. I don't know if Roland himself is suffering some sort of PST, but he just seems to have done a complete 180 & isn't the Roland that I loved the first couple of episodes. Yeah was a little disappointed that the ep was Denise lite, but her impact was felt, especially when she told Claudia Joy that she could trust her. Its gotta be tough for Denise to know the truth behind Roland & Joan's separation, & though she ackowledges Roland's cheating, Denise also isn't taking sides. Ok so WHO else was shocked by Frank's response?!!! Some peeps on here need to apologize to Frankie boy LOL I always knew Frank had it in him!!!! But was NOT expecting that response from him towards Jeremy, thats for sure!!!! Also who was pointing at the TV and snickering and saying HAHAHAHAHA to Lenore? Come on yall, raise those hands!!! :-) LOVED Victoria Grayson!!!!! :-) The Army Wives need to take her out to lunch hehe.... ok so what's up with Roland yall???? I mean I cant tell if he does feel bad- he tried to make it sound like in a way it's Joan's fault b/c she is in the Army. I know Army first, marriage second unfortunately- but look at how Claudia Joy, Denise, and even Pamela are handling it? They are all in love w. their hubbies and they know that army is the "mistress" but they have accepted that.... maybe Roland didnt love Joan enough? Who knows-- all I do know is that I was shocked by Joan's and Roland's response. He didnt even look remorseful-- the previews show Dgirl taking it to Roland and calling him out on his cheating- will Denise keep this quiet or will she tell the girls? Who knows? As for Marilyn-- PLEASE Pamela TELL the radio audience- and then say woops!!! LOL ARGH she makes me mad!!!! GREAT eppy per usual!!!!!!!! Amanda is of course Michael's daughter... Lenore sucks... Dgirl I believe by making the changes that she has made has in a way inspired Frank to go to Jeremy. Go Dgirl!! :-).... Claudia Joy- class act all the way- I would have confronted Lenore, but again HAHA LOL... I will be in a cry fest when AW is gone for fall/winter :-( But I will have BOTH AW and LOST to look forward to, not to mention CB's new movie!!!!! WOHOO!!! :-)

- Agreed, great eppy. I felt Jeremy's answer to Frank was honest & sincere, & that he said it was his fault. I was glad that Frank visited Jeremy, it showed that he was rethinking his actions/decisions made in anger, & that he loves his wife enough to try to work it out for her. CJ, class act all the way, wish everyone handled those situations that well & that the wicked witches of the world got their just desserts, like Lenore did. Pam, was great all the way around, enjoyed her. Felt for Roland & Joan, they both have a lot to process & it will take time for them absorb it. Hope it works out for the best. Well, gotta go, more later. (NT) -- Texasbrat, 04:36:15 08/13/07 Mon
- I totally loved Victoria Grayson, and thought she was just mysterious enough to keep me guessing for most of the ep. When Lenore was left alone in the office with an open briefcase, then I knew it was curtains for Lenore(Yay!) I loved Frank's conversation with Jeremy, but I still Jeremy needs to address his problem, I still cant fathom physcial violence toward his mom and not address it with couseling. Dont knw how I feel about Roland and Joan together. I cant hate Roland for what he did, but I think his excuse for not telling her was a bit lame, if not convenient. (NT) -- mkim lovin this show, 12:40:08 08/13/07 Mon
- I liked last night's episode, but was rather flabbergasted that the General's wife would tell Claudia Joy what she had done. I could see her implying that she did something or even hinting strongly that she'd been involved in getting Lenore in hot water, but to flat out tell CJ that she deliberately put classified documents (real or not, doesn't matter) in front of a known snope? That's just too too strange. I also laughed when Pamela hooked up with the radio show; that's exactly what happened with one of the Army wives on "The Unit." (NT) -- KatRose, 13:55:57 08/13/07 Mon
- I think the writers had to have the General's wife tell CJ. had to have a way to let us know what happened. Barbra Eden is so cool. i read that she said she might be back next season. Seventy Two years young and still at it. (NT) -- Linda R, 21:53:29 08/13/07 Mon
- i think the general's wife was doing her own networking by sharing with CJ. General's wives have few real friends and by this act she made a friend forever. (NT) -- Linda R, 10:45:06 08/22/07 Wed

I loved Roland's response..."I'm not here leave a message..." and how all 3 heads (Claudia's, Pamela's and Denise's) all in unison swung towards him when Roxy tried to pin him down.
I'm glad Roxy said what she did to Roland about his being a man doesn't fly with them, he IS part of their group, whether he likes it or not LOL! I loved when he gave Claudia Joy a "thumbs up" after her little speech about intimacy....
Poor Frank, he really is oblivious isn't he???? What was it going to take that first time, a sledgehammer upside his head?? LOL! I'm glad Denise didn't give up, and her comments to him at the end were very sweet, very reassuring, and very much coming from a woman IN LOVE with her husband. The slight smile on Frank's face, well I think he's starting to get it LOL!
I agreed with both Denise and Pamela...its not an easy issue, and one of the main points of this show is that Army spouses *do* have a different code than say your average spouse....I was glad to see that even though the disagreed, and probably weren't going to agree on the issue, that they didn't let it ruin their friendship.
Roxy, well let me just say a little of Roxy goes a loooooongggg waaaaaayyyyy.....I just don't see much substance to her character, and if she really and truly believes that marriage is all about sex only then her marriage isn't going to last. Yes sex is important, but like Claudia Joy pointed out, there's a whole lot more too it, which hopefully Roxy will learn. I couldn't believe she went to Trevor's CO, and honestly I wish Trevor would've had a little more of a reaction, because he doesn't have much substance either....I don't think his reaction was believable, JMHVHO.....
Claudia Joy, wow! Caught between a rock and a hard place, and I was glad she didn't let Michael off the hook that easy. She was right, because of him she asked her friend to leave their house, and I wish Claudia would've invited back to stay. I really wish Claudia Joy would've showed up at the ceremony...that doesn't mean she supports want Hannah was doing, but she was standing beside her friend.
Roland's going to get his comeuppance....I really hope it doesn't destroy their marriage. While there is no excuse for cheating, I can't help but feel a little for the guy...I mean how many of us have been taken hostage at gunpoint, and then had a man shot to death and his blood splattered all over us?? Maybe Roland *needed* to feel alive, and it wasn't about the sex at all....I don't know, I'm sure I'm rambling, but I hope Roland and Joan can work things out.
I can't believe there are only 3 episodes left...Gosh what are we going to do come Fall time? LOL! Its been such a treat, having something to look forward to every week. I love how the characters are evolving, and being a huge Catherine Bell fan is great that the show is such a success and to watch her play an entirely different character.

- WOW! -- Theresa, 00:55:26 08/06/07 Mon [5]
WOW! Go Denise! She made me blush, and that's not easy to do. Loved all of her scenes. Though I did agree more with Pamela when they were arguing.
Roland breaks my heart, because I love him. And I'm not looking forward to him breaking Joan's heart either. Because she loves him too. Why did they have to make the cheater, someone who is lovable otherwise? Probably to be more realistic.
Roxy cracked me up. I've been where she is, when the sex craze slows down after the "honeymoon" phase, and you wonder if there's a deeper meaning. I cringed though, when she went to talk to Trevor's commander.
Claudia Joy's story line broke my heart as well. And once again I didn't care for Michael. The Army is his job alone. He needs to get it through his head that what his family does isn't only about him and how it will reflect on the Army. He needs to let them be themselves with their own views. He chose the Army, not them. He put Claudia Joy in a terrible spot with her friend.
Next episode looks pretty good for Pamela. I'd listen to her on the radio any day.
Overall, loved the episode.

- Does anyone think the storyline about Jeremy's abusive behaviour has been badly handled. I can't get over the way it's been swept under the carpet. Is it a good message Lifetime is sending, that these things happen and can just be ignored? Jeremy hasn't had any therapy, I can't imagine his anger management problems have just disapeared, nor do I think joining the army will help. I also find it odd how quickly Denise has picked herself up, abuse has lasting effects, yet the writers seem to have just moved on. I'm also struggling with the timelines in the show, -- Ixia, 00:47:20 08/02/07 Thu [3]

- Frank made a comment about seeing in the new Denise the person he fell in love with. Much has been said about Frank's treatment of Denise but somewhere along the line she lost that which he fell in love with and became the person whom we first met on AW. Some people lose themselves when in a relationship and become an extension of their significant other. I wonder how much of this was Frank's doing? Could it be that Denise herself decided to give up her career and become Mrs. Frank Sherwood the perfect wife and mother? Or did circumstances the mobility of army life cause her to pull the plug on her nursing ambitions and as motherhood came along she slowly lost her drive and focused on family life? -- Jubellant, 14:24:03 07/30/07 Mon [3]

- Well, another amazing episode of "Army Wives" last night... -- KH, 07:49:05 07/30/07 Mon [13]
First off, who didn't love Denise last night. I'm sorry folks, but Frank still doesn't rank very high on my list. While yes later on when he saw Denise in action he had a change of heart, he was a complete (pardon my french) prick to her most of the show. Man that guy is so self absorbed and selfish. Everything is all about him. I was so proud of Denise for the way she handled him and did what she wanted and needed to do for herself. She is just so coming into her own and explaining and expressing what she needs and wants. I have to say that after watching all the other husbands, Frank is about as warm and loving as a cold dead fish...LOL. I was glad that he told her he wasn't going to fight her and that she looked so different, vital and focused he almost didn't recognize her. And that he remembered why he fell in love with her, what would it have taken for him to get off his chair and take her in his arm and hug and hold her and tell her that stuff and maybe kiss her. I will give him credit for stating that Jeremy was gone because of him and he didn't want to be the reason Denise left too, but man that guy needs to lose the military protocol at home and treat his wife like the woman he loves and show her. They way he left the message on her cell phone just irked me. I'm thinking Denise isn't gettin any at home, only on Franks terms...LOL. Hence the comment "I'm speechless" at the Hump bar in the previews when Roxy's talking about her and Trevor not having sex for the first time one night. I laughed my butt off. Well I'm proud of Denise again for taking matters into her own hands and trying to spice things up and taking on a new look with her new attitude and is going to seduce Franky boy. I just hope he's receptive...LOL. "Go D Girl".
O.K. Lenore Baker, what a bi***. The actress who plays her does the character so well. I knew what Claudia Joy's secret was beforehand, but it was really played well and Kim did a wonderful jobs with the emotional scene at the end. And I have to say I'm starting to like Michael a little better each week. It's very obvious he adores his wife and he starting to smile a little more each week and show he takes care of his own. I like the way he has Joan's back.
Roland and Joan I have a feeling are in for a bumpy road ahead especially when he tells her. I think the patient in his office talking about his cheating wife gave Roland some food for thought and about coming clean. I see struggles ahead for these too, but maybe it'll go better than I think it will.
It was nice to see Pamela and Chase being a family unit for the 36 hours he was home. I think Chase is really realizing what he has in Pamela and is trying to be that guy she was talking about to Roxy whom she first married. Loved his plan of not going out, not letting anyone in and it just being the four of them until he had to leave again. And I also loved how he told Pamela she was his rock and he didn't want to lose her. I'm starting to like Chase better as time goes on as well.
Again just another amazing episode which went entirely too fast and look forward to next weeks episode. Can you belive there are only 4 left :o(.
Take Care! :o)

- Great post KH, love your sense of humour LOL! I just noted only 4 eppys to go, on the CB board! I am so looking forward to CB's comedic side next week. I'm smiling just thinking about it. Frankie boy (love that moniker) is not going to know what hit him! D-girl really ran that code like a pro. Glad that Frank got to see it first hand. His wife's desire to pursue nursing should have been enough, but some people need visual aids. (A picture is worth a thousand words, and Frank got a doozie!) CJ again nailed the scene recalling that horrific event. I am so enjoying this series and love the fast pace of the stories. Life often comes at you from all directions and many balls are being kept airborn. Just love the cast. The acting on all fronts is SUPERB. The storylines week after week, are gems! (NT) -- Jubellant, 08:41:05 07/30/07 Mon
- Frank still has a long way to go to redeem himself in my eyes..After that 1st scene with Denise & Frank, where he TOLD Denise she'd better be with him at the dinner & it was all about him, I called my Twinny & we both said at the same time what an a** Frank is! Then we proceeded to stay on the phone for the rest of ep taking turns at the commercials complaining about Frank, LOL!! I was satisfied to see Frank at the end acknowledge Denise's desire to work, but would it of killed him to give his wife a hug or tell her how much he loves her & respects her? No he still made it about him, I don't want to be the reason you leave...Give Denise some credit! Quit treating your wife like a subordinate! I know Frank is acknowledging certain things, but he still has a long way to go. Inside.. -- Jennifer, 08:55:31 07/30/07 Mon
- I don't know enough about Frank's background to judge him, nor do I know what age he went into the army. In his case he may be just parroting what he has lived. When he knows better hopefully he will do better. I'd like to have faith in D-girl's choice of a life partner. Hopefully she saw in him what is not so apparent to us. I found it strange that except for Roland saying CJ's experience could have happened to anyone, Denise was the only other person that showed support. Roxie and Pamela looked dumbfounded. I can't believe they said nothing. At first Roland seemed to relate well with CJ when they were rocking Pamela's babies but lately Denise seems to be whom he is relating to. Michael sure has done a 180 as far as Joan is concerned and I'm glad. She really needs someone in her corner. (NT) -- Jubellant, 09:30:54 07/30/07 Mon

- Am I dillusional? -- Theresa, 00:20:19 07/30/07 Mon [4]
I thought in the preview last week that Michael said, "It was 18 years ago, you were just a kid", and yet in the episode he says, "It was 20 years ago..." Did anyone else hear that? I wonder if they changed the script because it fits the timeline better. It couldn't have been 18 years ago because Amanda was born around that time.

Well I finally got to see the episode last night but the phone kept ringing you know how it is when you try to watch something everyone calls and any other time no one knows you are alive LOL! So I think I got caught up on the major events, Roland shame shame (caught me a bit off guard) and Pamela making a tough decision. Denise decided to give the nursing idea another shot. They did a nice job of showing everyone working together to help the lady who needed to move off post.
Didn't quite understand about Denise and Claudia Joy, seems Amanda asked to stay at Denise's house while her family went on vacation but I could not keep up with why CJ didn't want her to stay with Denise. CJ and Denise have patched things up or no not yet? I didn't really catch any scene that showed the two of them trying to patch their friendship did I miss something?

- There was a scene where CJ was packing some clothes & Denise was on the bed, they were chatting like they normally do, so the implication is that they patched things up. I didn't totally get CJ staying behind on the trip either. It was mentioned below how bratty Amanda was acting, & in the end she got her way. I realize she's 18, but she is living in her parents house & she should, at the very least, respect their house rules, & wishes. She had plenty of other chances to see Jeremy -- he's in boot camp, not deployed. I guess the parent in me got irked with that whole situation. (NT) -- Texasbrat, 11:50:03 07/29/07 Sun
- When Amanda called her Mom from Denise's and CJ told her to have Denise call her in the morning, that is when they most likely had their heart to heart. CJ probably wasn't too thrilled that Denise had not given her the head's up that Amanda was there all day but after her lack of help with Jeremy I think she let it go. CJ stayed home because the more they go against Amanda's feelings for Jeremy the more she will probably cling to him. Also she might go and do something drastic like marry the guy. (Inside) -- Jubellant, 14:29:48 07/29/07 Sun
- I CJ stayed with Amanda instead of Denise because Amanda is her responsibility, not Denise's. Not good form to go on vacation and leave your troubled teen with one of your friends. (NT) -- Theresa, 14:45:46 07/29/07 Sun
- I think there is some cultural difference here that I find very interesting to point out... I seriously do not get what the big deal is about Amanda not wanting to go on vacation with her parents. The girl is 18 years old, after all; a grown-up, for all intents and purposes, as many were quick to point out when it came to Jeremy and his taking responsibility for what he did. When I was 18, and went on vaca with my parents, I was the odd ball out in my class; generally by latest 16, teenagers here have enough of family vacations and stay behind, and parents let them. No big deal, no hard feelings. Hey, by that age, I moved halfway around the world for a year to take care of other people's kids! (NT) -- Colie - from Germany, btw, just in case you were wondering, 17:14:54 07/29/07 Sun
- Truth be known, for me, it has more to do with Amanda's 2-year-old "go 'way, me do it" attitude. She was very flippant, & had a bit of an "I dare you to do something" attitude when she pronounced to dad she wasn't going. More in the how she said what she said, than the fact she didn't want to go. I'm from the Deep South in the US, most kids (whether they were 2, 10, or 20) would never have finished the sentance b/c they were too busy picking themselves up off the floor, b/c you just don't speak to adults, especially your parents like she did. If she had asked not to go, or said she didn't want to go camping, it would have been different, but that wouldn't have made for good drama, now would it. (NT) -- Texasbrat, 07:25:00 07/30/07 Mon

Hey Theresa-didnt want you to think that I was dissing you by not responding- honestly what I think is happening is the father is around more from work and his wife is working more so that she doesn't have to stay home w. the son. He is 20 years old and who knows what he is going to do -he s a very angry kid. My student doesn't like to talk about him. It is hard for me to get involved b/c I just now found out- unfortunately I am leaving my old school and heading to a new school. But before I leave to go and work at my new school, I will be talking to our social services at school that can help families in need of assistance. I will let you know what happens!

Had an interesting conversation with some friends awhile back on this very topic and was surprised by the responses. The question was if your friend knew thst your husband was cheating on you would you want to know? Most said NO! In Roland's case if this was a 1 time isolated incident (not that I am condoning his behaviour) would that give at least some hope to this marriage surviving vs. a long time love affair? How does this impact trust issues if Joan decides to stay in the army and gets redeployed? Is it a 1 strike and you are out scenario? What if Joan gives up her career to work on having a family only to find out later that Roland did this?

I was so angry with Roland. He was one of my favorites, but now he's not. The comment he made right before we saw the "roll in the hay" proves that he knew full well what he was doing. Yes he's been through a lot, but so have so many other people and they're able to keep it in their pants. And think back to that scene for a minute. He seriously gave it to that woman. How many positions did they do before it was over? None of it was loving, none of it was out of pure lonliness. He had something to prove. Agression to get out. Was he trying to hurt Joan? Was he's just horny? Is that how he usually is in bed? WHOA on all counts.

- I think it was anger, desperation, and loneliness, all rolled into one. I'm quite torn about him now, and definitely disappointed. But (inside) -- Colie, 10:15:50 07/24/07 Tue
- Roland seemed too be withdrawing somewhat from the other wives lately. He was jogging, then trying to join a basketball team all in an attempt to I think release pent-up emotions and energy. It would have been good for him to be around the other males with the basketball outlet. Some viewers are hoping this is just a fantasy in Roland's mind that we saw. The behaviour seemed so out of character for him.especially as Joan is working on her issues. It will be interesting to see if he comes clean with Joan about it. This act had nothing to do with love, it was something done on a pirmal level with a person he would probably never see again. A reporter to boot! I too was disappointed bigtime with Roland, (NT) -- Jubellant, 11:09:00 07/24/07 Tue
- Ditto Theresa. I don't care what emotional stuff he's dealing with. His friends were there calling him and trying to talk to him, but he didn't answer their calls or phone them back. While yes, I felt bad for him during the bar scene that night, he still was weak and screwed the pooch on this one big time. I know he has issues of his own to work out, but he knew it was wrong before he did it. He was celibate for two years, things were going well with Joan before she left and he couldn't keep it in his pants for 30 days, Give Me A Break! Roland does confess it to Joan, but I sure hope he does it before she makes the final decision to give up her career. This will definitely cause problems with their marriage. (NT) -- Kathy, 13:27:27 07/24/07 Tue
- I couldn't even watch that part of the episode. I fastforwarded the TiVo until it was done. I didn't want to witness his fall from being a good "wife" to a "fallen woman". (NT) -- KatRose (), 10:25:31 07/25/07 Wed
- O.K., I just thought of this tonight and thought I would pose the question to you all here... -- KH, 19:40:23 07/23/07 Mon [4]
How many of you married ladies or those in a relationship with small children or grown children (but can remember when they were younger can relate to the hilarious scenerio Roxy told Pamela about.
"Last night when Trevor was on top of me Finn walked in on us."
"What did you say?"
"We told him we were cold."
"What did he say?"
"He said it's summer."
I laughed out loud and could so relate back to the days when my kids were small as well as all the stories of my friends and their spouses. That was just too funny and so true...LOL.
Take Care! :o)

- Marilyn I am sorry is a bit%$ with a capital B... holier than thou... anyway I think Frank does know about Denise wanting to go back... as for Amanda and Michael-he really is a good dad just like Frank-they both want to see their kids succeed in life... I think Denise is ok but at the same time scared for her son. Speaking of Denise I was kinda worried for a sec w. everything that happened b/w her and CJ about Amanda going to Denise and not her mom-was scared CJ would be jealous. But all is good!! :-) Love this show!! OH how cute was it when Denise hugged Amanda when she was crying- Denise had that look that said oh boy dramatic teen love LOL Love CB!!! :-) (NT) -- Kristen, 17:38:30 07/23/07 Mon
- I don't think Frank is aware of it and when he finds out he's not supportive. She goes against his wished going back to nursing. Yes, I think Denise is as o.k. as she can be. Jeremy is 18 years old and old enough to make decisions about his life and I think she realized this at the gazebo when she talked with him. Jeremy had made his decision and Denise's look and nod of understanding stated this. Her comment this past week to Claudia Joy about "we turned out o.k. and all we can do is hope our kids will too" speaks volumes and states how it's out of there hands and they have to let them find their own way and be there if they need you. Can't stand Marilyn, I'd like to have words with her...LOL. (NT) -- KH, 19:34:54 07/23/07 Mon
- I think I've got some character names confused. Marilyn is the one that Roxy talked to a couple of eps ago, but the girl at the art school was not her. Right? That was a different Wicked Witch, just as gossipy, but not Marilyn. We see Marilyn again next week cuz she is helping the gossip along about CJ. I thought is was funny that the gal this week (who is also supposed to by married) was livid that the good looking guy she spotted first was more interested in Pam than her. Course, I'm sure she was gathering ammunition for gossip about Pam the whole time. (NT) -- Texasbrat, 06:16:49 07/24/07 Tue

I'm glad to see that Denise and Claudia Joy worked things out and are back on track, they have such a wonderful friendship. Just all around good scenes, good communication and loved Denise getting that look of determination on her face and marching through those double doors. I am MUCHO disappointed in Roland...I thought he was "better" than that, to succumb to the "other" head instead of his actual brain. I was so hoping it wasn't going to happen, and I still like Roland, but right now I do think a lot less of him. Of course he's probably going through so much stuff that none of us can comprehend, but still....I thought for sure he was going to resist...sigh...
I felt soooo sorry for Denise! That first scene where she's in class with the others and then when they get up to go into training, Denise just has that lost look, the the world has passed her by and she doesn't belong. I was glad to see at the end she was dressed in her scrubs, and basically jumpe
