Subject: I can't believe the season is over! We have to wait now until Season 2, but at least they gave us a reason to come back LOL!!

Frank went a long way in redeeming himself IMHO...We saw a softer side of Frank, I loved it when he popped up with the balloons for Denise and told her that he was proud of her. And then Frank made dinner for her?? Wow! Pick me up off the floor LMAO! Good for Frank! He finally verbalized what some of us thought he was feeling, that he was scared Denise had outgrown him and didn't need him. Loved Denise's response, and I adored how Frank gave her a letter too when Denise gave him his upon his deployment.

I feel for Joan. I admire her honesty in telling Roland, and the fact that she didn't use the pregnancy to force Roland to stay, or become all desperate. Roland on the other hand, I have no clue what's going on in that man's head (his god given brain not the brain below his belt LOL), and I think he's in need of some serious counseling. I did like however the 4 women supporting Roland, even though they may not agree with what's going on with Roland & Joan, they support and are there for their friend.

Glad Amanda wasn't pregnant...now maybe she can just go away for a while, cause she annoys me LOL! I thought Jeremy handled the break-up very well, and these two may end up together later on. Who knows....I wonder if Jeremy will be stationed at the post upon his completion of basic training? I do miss seeing Jeremy and Denise, cause I thought they were starting fresh with their relationship, and that has ended.

I liked Claudia Joy giving the bar owner a check...anyone think Roxy is going to take over the bar ownership?

I knew it was going to be Marilyn's husband, and the ending sure left us wondering what was going to happen...he didn't say a word, and when he pulled the Flak Jacket off, it was like Oh No!!!

Gosh how many months until Season 2???? Congrats to the cast and crew of Army Wives, for a successful FIRST season! I wasn't sure if I'd like the show, but it got me hooked and I just love the friendship and bring on Season 2!

[> I so agree Twinny! Frank did come a long way in redeeming himself and I loved how he acknowledged that in the beginning he gave her a rough time but then he was so proud of her. In the last couple of episodes, Frank has come a long way and he verbalized his happiness that they were getting their son back and that he e-mailed Jeremy. I've so loved the journey that Denise has been on this first season and I can't wait to continue the ride into Season 2. I also loved Frank showing his vulnerability with Denise's changes and worried that there wouldn't be room for him when he got back. Totally loved Denise's reply to him on how she never needed him more than she does now and never loved him more than she does now. And loved how Frank had a love note for Denise as well, too cute. I was truly happy they didn't go there with Amanda being pregnant and admired her maturity in making the choice she did to break it off with Jeremy and do what she needs to do to make herself happy. I was pleased to see how Jeremy handled the break up as well and thought it sweet that he hugged her after all was said and done. It seems that Jeremy is growing as well. My Twinny and I talked about this yesterday that we both are missing the interaction with Denise and Jeremy. They were really bonding and I would like to see more of their interaction. Catherine has done such an amazing job with her role of Denise and it is such a pleasure to see her continue to grow in her craft.

My heart continues to break for Joan and I'd like to hit Roland over the head with a 2x4 and ask him where the real Roland went. He has just infuriated me these last few episodes. I so admired Joan how she handled telling Roland about her being pregnant. Joan has really tugged at my heart as of late and greatly impressed me with her maturity and integrity.

I felt for Claudia Joy when she laid it on the line to Amanda and then her reaction when Amanda told her she might be pregnant, her reaction was very realistic and I thought she handled it with grace. I could completely understand her being overjoyed at Amanda not being pregnant, that Amanda was able to continue on with her education and start on the road to realizing her dreams. You could just feel the relief she felt and stressed birth control. I'm not a real big fan of Michael, but I was touched to see how emotional he got while saying goodbye to Amanda going off to college. It was very bittersweet for me because I could relate.

I really kinda felt bad for Pamela at the end there because she was the only one not being able to send her husband off on his mission with hugs and love and her children miss out as well. That's a real bummer for all the families of Delta Force.

It didn't surprise me at all that it was Marilyns husband with all the explosives attached to his person at the end. How heart wrenching for everyone in the Hump Bar and Claudia Joy's reaction when Amanda walked in was so realistic. And what a heartbreaking touch at the end where all of them were having their loved ones flash before their eyes. Now we all have to wait until next Spring to find out what happens and all I can say is that it's going to be a very long winter...LOL. I had to laugh because after the episode my mother called me and said, "I can't believe they ended it that way, they should have told us this or had the buy with the explosives say that etc." I laughed and said to her "It's called a cliff hangar mom, they do that on purpose to frustrate the dickens out of you and make you wonder and wait with impatience for the new season to start to find out what happens." She's new to this whole series television because she's never been wrapped up in a series before. I got her hooked on Army Wives and now she's just as imatient as the rest of us for Season 2 to get here...LOL.

Congratulations to Catherine and the rest of the cast, crew, writers, producers and directors for an amazing show and an outstandingly successful first season. Here's too a successful Season 2 and from what the boards I read have said they are very impatient for when Season 2 will begin, because they are going to miss it during hiatus. Good Job Everyone! Take Care! :o)
