Subject: Episode 4 recap...

Wow.. what an emotinal episode. I knew Trevor was going to be ok, now the real question is how is he going to deal with the 'hero' title? I loved Roxy when she was talking on the phone to Trevor's commanding officer and she said, "Can you tell him I love him?" I'm glad Betty is going to rebuild the Hump Bar and hand it on to ROxy.. It sure beats working at a fish pier! We saw Joan inform her troops about the pregnancy and of course they were all excited. I'm happy for Roland and hope he gets a good job at the high school, he seems really good with kids. I did not like Frank in this episode at all. The way he told Denise there is an "image problem with an officers with 'tooling' around post on a motocycle." And then the way held told her to do what she wants and hung up the phone.. Never end a phone call mad when you're in the army! And in the preveiws it looks like there is going to be more fighting between the two.. we never really get many happy sherwood scences! Not much Pamela in the episode, but she was very reassuring to Roxy when she recieved Trevor's news. I felt so bad for Michael, I can understanding his trouble signing the deployment papers. I also felt bad when he blamed himself for Amanda's death, and said he should of stopped them from leaving. I'm gald that Claudia Joy convinced him not to retire and he is the best one for post commander. Well I think I pretty much covered most of the important parts..

[> Thanks for the talking points Erin. I loved the surprise element with Polarski's sister as this area is rarely dealt with. It took guts for her to face people. I guess she was trying to obtain some closure for herself as well. I like Frank but right now HE IS KILLING ME! He has to stop thinking in terms of self and think a bit more about those around him. Loving that they aren't giving Denise a sudden turn around in that they show her apprehension about being tempted and then the gradual loosening of her inhibitions. I think her true character has always been squashed and she lived her life to please everyone but herself. (inside) -- Jubellant, 09:07:45 06/30/08 Mon [1]

CJ at this point seems to be the one in the tribe that is the loneliest and more of the outsider to me. Even when they were all together when Denise rides up in her surprise, CJ was a bit low key. I miss her and Denise's girltalk and hope that the friendship doesn't dwindle. Joan and Roland were funny this week. I like this side of them. Roland seems so much happier and Joan is like what is happening to me? LOL! It will be interesting to see the Roxy/Trevor dynamic when he gets back. Glad that Roxie didn't totally freak out this week re: Trevor maybe she is maturing a bit. It was interesting to see Michael as the soldier with a heart and that he knows every decision he makes impacts someones life. The greeting of the two soldiers at the end really hit home as these men's contribution was acknowledged and they were made to feel they matter too. It will be interesting to see where both Pamela's a CJ's storyline is headed this season as well. Hope they deal with the Jeremy issues too. Anyways just loving the Denise storyline. Frank and Denise really need a face to face soon to get their issues out and find some sort of compromise. I'm glad Denise didn't cave to Frank's issues. If they dwelt on his safety concerns instead of how it looked I think we would be more empathetic towards him. Can't wait until next week!
