Subject: Last nights ep left me a little unsettled, & here's why....

I am MUCHO disappointed in Roland...I thought he was "better" than that, to succumb to the "other" head instead of his actual brain. I was so hoping it wasn't going to happen, and I still like Roland, but right now I do think a lot less of him. Of course he's probably going through so much stuff that none of us can comprehend, but still....I thought for sure he was going to resist...sigh...

I felt soooo sorry for Denise! That first scene where she's in class with the others and then when they get up to go into training, Denise just has that lost look, the the world has passed her by and she doesn't belong. I was glad to see at the end she was dressed in her scrubs, and basically jumped in. Good for her!

I had to LOL at the one scene where Claudia was packing and Denise came into the bedroom...that outfit was the one Catherine was wearing when she went to Dover to do the "Gentleman Start your Engines" NASCAR race in early June...I wonder if she was filming this ep and basically just hopped a plane and then went right back LMAO! It appears there are no hard feelings between Denise and Claudia Joy, and loved the fact that they both had some laughter. Good to see...

I felt bad that all Michael wanted was for his family to go on vacation together, but in the end Claudia stayed behind with Amanda. I do think Amanda is acting like a spoiled brat, and one day she will look back with regret I believe for not spending time with her family. I know since my Dad died, I look back at all the lost family times....

Another good ep, the previews looked fantastic, but this ep left me feeling disappointed, because of how Roland acted.

[> Twinny, we must have posted at the same time as each other. You and I are on the same page again...LOL (SURPRISE...LOL). I said that above as well about Roland. I haven't processed that one yet and I don't know how it's going to bode for his relationship with Joan. All around another excellent episode though. Take Care! :o) -- KH, 07:19:02 07/23/07 Mon [1]

[> [> About the outfit, I recognized the shirt as well...LOL. I think she just borrowed it thought because at the Nascar she had on different jeans and tennis shoes and she had her bangs cut. :o) -- KH (off to work), 07:21:19 07/23/07 Mon [1]

[> I, too, was disappointed in Roland, but estatic(sp?) over Pam. I think I can deal w/Roland having a one time (hopefully) fling, much better thanif it had been Pam. I related sooo very much to Denise trying to get back into the workforce after raising kids (I'm doing it myself). It's tough, you make the decision to stay at home & raise your kids, then when they leave home (or are all in school), you think I can now get a job & we can have a few extra $$'s, but you find the job market has changed dramatically. Used to you turned your resume in in person, now it's all electronic, but for all the bumps in job hunting, I wouldn't trade being home with my kids for anything. -- Texasbrat, 08:37:36 07/23/07 Mon [1]

[> [> Denise's school return brought back memories. I have have upgraded to computers in two different careers. Fortunately, I'm a quick study. Being the 'mature' student stuff made me laugh. I was 2/3rds through a course, mentioned my age and it was let's see some ID, LOL! Another GREAT eppy. I was disappointed in Roland's choice. It seemed he had weathered the toughest parts. As his wife is addressing her issues, it was a strange time to act this way unless on a subconcious level he wanted to hurt her like he feels he has been hurt. Liked that CJ and Denise are back on track. I was worried CJ might go the Amanda's my daughter route. Pleased that Pamela resisted temptation. Loved Denise's what to wear scene as well. CB has great comedic timing that compliments her dramatic chops excellently. -- Jubellant, 09:00:47 07/23/07 Mon [1]

[> Another good episode. CB did a great job showing Denise’s uncertainty and resolve to go back to nursing. Glad her and Claudia Joy are talking again. I love their friendship and that of Roxy and Pamela. Was very surprised at Roland thought it would be Pamela. Glad she resisted. Roland definitely needs to speak with a shrink himself to deal with what is going on in his marriage and what happened in his office when the guy was shot. Next week looks interesting. -- Hope, 13:01:06 07/23/07 Mon [1]

SOOOOO not happy with Roland either-- just really disappointed in him as well!!! I know he has been going thru alot but so has Pamela and she didnt succumb...

If I would have been her classmate I would have said to her as we were walking out, no worries girl you can do it! It's hard at first but it will come to you! Yes SO happy to see D-girl in her scrubs!! :) YOU GO DENISE! :)

I am watching it right now b/c I wanted to see the outift-you are right Jennifer!!! How funny was that!! LOL Loved the interaction b/w CJ and Dgirl... I dont have a criminal past hehe..

Amanda needs to stop and think and be there for her family. Jeremy is gone now and should focus on her family.

AWESOME EP!! :) But again Jennifer I agree- Roland I am not happy with now!!!!! Cant wait to see what is going to happen!

[> [> I am angry with Roland period. Cannot get past that. One has to admit though this guy has one great body. Wow I could watch him shoot baskets for hours. . -- Linda R, 21:37:30 07/23/07 Mon [1]

[> [> [> Maybe the writers wanted us to gawk at his wonderful body, so they had to find a way for him to show it off. It never ceases to amaze me & sometimes make me laugh at how scenes are written to ensure we get to see fine looking bodies. -- Texasbrat, 06:00:39 07/24/07 Tue [1]
